OUR STATEMENT OF BELIEF

  1. We affirm the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, as inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18, 2 Timothy 3: 16-17). It is inerrant in it original writings and serves as the ultimate guide for faith and practice.Guided by the Holy Spirit, human authors wrote precisely what God intended without error or omission. (2 Peter 1:21).

  2. We believe in one God, Creator of all, revealed in three distinct Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—yet one in essence, being, and glory (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 10:30; 2 Corinthians 13:14). God is eternal, infinite, and sovereign, possessing attributes such as omniscience, omnipresence, omnipotence, holiness, justice, righteousness, love, grace, mercy, and goodness (Psalm 90:2; 1 Timothy 1:17; Psalm 139:1-13; Isaiah 6:3; Romans 6:23; 1 John 4:8).

  3. We confess Jesus Christ as fully God and fully man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary (Matthew 1:23; John 1:1,14). He lived a sinless life, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for humanity's sins, rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven, and reigns as our High Priest and Advocate (1 John 3:5; 1 John 2:2; Romans 5:8-9; Acts 1:9-10; Hebrews 7:25)

  4. We affirm the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit, who regenerates sinners, indwells believers, and empowers them for Christian living (Acts 5:3-4; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14). He administers spiritual gifts according to His sovereign will, and while miraculous gifts may operate, they may not function identically to those in the early church (1 Corinthians 12:11; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

  5. Salvation is a gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, achieved through His sacrificial death and bodily resurrection (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:8-9; 1 Corinthians 15). It is received by grace through faith, apart from works, and results in transformed lives evidenced by good works (Ephesians 2:8-10; James 2)

  6. .The Church is the spiritual body of Christ, composed of all believers, called to proclaim the gospel and disciple believers through baptism and the Lord's Supper (1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Matthew 28:19-20). The Great Commission is the primary mission of the Church, and believers are tasked with witnessing to the truth of God's Word (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).
